A little about me -
Hello! 👋 I’m Seth Pahmeier, owner of Southpaw Design Co. I grew up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and attended Luther Preparatory School. I then went on to study design and earned my degree at University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. I’m currently based out of Appleton, WI. Combining a passion for design and entrepreneurship, I’ve spent time in-house on creative + marketing teams for global corporations, in-house for a branding agency and e-commerce agencies, freelancing, and now run my independent business.
I’ve always been amazed how brands can pull us in through it’s story and identity, and deliver such an experience that it effects the way you feel and what you believe. I set out to craft a brand that is unique and solely inspired by the story of my clients, to make sure their design is tailored for them; ultimately making them unique and standing out from competition.
In my free time, I love spending time in northern Wisconsin with my family and friends, while enjoying the classic Wisconsin luxuries; fantastic fishing and hunting, snacking on fresh cheese curds and washing them down with a tasty old-fashioned, and listening to loons echo across the lake.

-
Design agencies are often selling graphic design or knocking out marketing pieces and only looking to do one and done and get paid.
Southpaw is looking to build a professional relationship with clients that are a good fit and serve creative and strategic solutions so you can be successful in their passion. -
It depends on the scope, but most full branding projects take 3-6 weeks. This allows time for discovery, concept development, feedback, revisions, and delivery of final assets.
-
There is no business or instance where an identity, campaign, event, or theme does not benefit from a strategic identity that delivers a consistent experience. A logo is only a piece of that identity; without supporting design elements (like colors, fonts, graphic tools, and rules for use) it will fall flat and lose impact.
-
Yes. After final payment, clients receive full rights to use their brand assets.
-
That’s totally okay. When you work with Southpaw, it’s our job to guide you through the process, ask the right questions, and develop a solution that reflect your values, audience, and vision—even if you're starting from scratch.
-
Absolutely. Brand refreshes are common and can breathe new life into an existing brand. This might include refining your logo, updating colors and fonts, or tightening up your messaging and visual identity without losing your what’s familiar.
At Southpaw, we’d define this as an evolutionary approach as opposed to revolutionary.
